Cy4E is open to teams with a start-up business idea which technology plays a key role. To participate, teams need to comply to the following eligibility criteria:
Each team must consist of a minimum of 2 individuals. At least one team member should be a resident of the Republic of Cyprus and all applicants must be over 18 years of age.
Teams are not required to have a registered company; however, preference will be given to startups with registered companies. If registered, the company should be less than 5 years old from the date of registration.
The venture should not have raised more than €500,000 in equity capital prior to the event. Any previous funding received must be disclosed in the application.
The startup should be a potentially viable investment opportunity with solid growth potential in the global market, seeking funding or capital within the next 12 months.
The team should possess the necessary capabilities to successfully launch a product or service.
Applicants must be able to effectively communicate the business potential of their idea.
Online submissions must be completed within the specified dates according to the provided instructions. Late entries will not be accepted.
The Cy4E organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any application that does not align with the parameters of the competition, as determined at their sole and absolute discretion.
