From business idea to business model

This workshop aims to help early-stage entrepreneurs transform their business ideas into comprehensive and effective business models. Using contemporary approaches and tools—e.g. Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking, Lean Startup—participants will learn how to
a) decompose and assess the value of their idea,
b) identify the basic assumptions on which the success of their idea relies upon
c) test the validity of these assumptions.

The Trainer

Giorgos Papagiannakis is an assistant professor of entrepreneurship and sustainability at the University of Peloponnese. He teaches entrepreneurship, corporate sustainability, and management in under and post-graduate programs at the University of Peloponnese, Athens University of Economics and Business, and the University of Cyprus. He delivers seminars and provides mentoring to early-stage entrepreneurs on how to improve their business ideas. His research interests are in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Corporate Sustainability. His work appears in leading academic journals, such as the British Journal of Management and Journal of Business Ethics as well as in popular press, such as the Harvard Business Review.
